Disney has released its Club Penguin app for Android. Club Penguin is a virtual membership-based world for kids, letting them play games, create characters, and find collectables. The Android release comes just in time for Club Penguin's Merry Walrus Celebration.
Club Penguin offers kids a large multiplayer community. There, you can play games to earn coins, which you can spend on new items for your in-game character. You can also collect and take care of puffles, tiny creatures that act like virtual pets. Also, from now through December 29, Club Penguin is becoming a decorated winter wonderland for the first Merry Walrus celebration, which celebrates giving and brings new activities to the Club Penguin island. The celebration includes an online party, tree decoration, and more.
As part of the launch, Android users can get a special offer when they sign up for their first month of membership, getting a bonus month to gift to a friend. Club Penguin is available for download now from the Google Play Store.
