The generally-excellent Microsoft Office suite for Android tablets and Dropbox cloud storage service now work together, allowing users to open and edit compatible documents from Dropbox directly into the Office apps.
The Dropbox integration has been present on Android smartphones since November. The implementation is really quite straightforward: preview a document, slideshow, or spreadsheet in Dropbox and you'll be presented with an edit button to open it in Word, PowerPoint, or Excel (respectively, all assuming that you have said apps installed), make your edits, and have them automatically saved back to your Dropbox account. Easy, peasy.
